By using this website and placing orders with Maldas, you agree that any disputes or legal matters arising from your use of our store or your purchases will be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
1. Applicable Law
These terms and all transactions conducted through maldas.co.za are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, including but not limited to:
- The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008
- The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002
- The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
2. Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or any purchase made through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa. As Maldas is based in Germiston, Gauteng, disputes will generally fall under the jurisdiction of the courts serving that area.
3. Dispute Resolution
We always encourage customers to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any concerns amicably. We are a small, home-based business and we genuinely care about resolving issues fairly and promptly.
If a resolution cannot be reached directly, you may also approach the National Consumer Commission (NCC) or the relevant consumer tribunal in South Africa for assistance.
